Let the kids...
One thing I encourage my clients is to let the kids run the show. Your session is a time to embrace all the uniqueness of them and the stage they are in. If they want to explore, let them. If they want to chase each other, let them. If they just want you to hold them, let them. There's no wrong personality, no wrong expression, no wrong moment. Whatever stage they're in, embrace it! and I promise it will take the stress off of you, and we will capture the moments as they come. Trust me, you'll want to remember that grumpy face, that silly dance, that wonder in their eyes. Come with no expectations, ready to just be yourselves and roll with the punches ;)
